Great summary of the developer spectrum! While reading your post I actually thought the same could be said about any occupation. On one end is the approach that takes quality and longevity into consideration, while on the other they’re both given up for the sake of quick results.

There’s a saying (rooted in the Pareto principle) that 20% of the effort produces 80% of the results. In that sense, the best thing is to consider what your goal is and adjust your approach accordingly.
